This evening I visited your very interesting and informative website. A lot of useful information for me as a travel agent from the Netherlands (see www . kentauro . nl). Since 2000 we organise cultural travels in Romania, Transylvania and Maramures. Each year in summer we have a special tour about folk and traditions. We travel in a group of about 14-20 persons, all lovers. In 2008 we wuld like to visit northern Moldavia and Ukraina to learn about traditions and and enjoy the countryside. We would like to spend about 3 days in the Kosiv region.

As we never visited Ukraina and do not speak the language, we need some asistance. Can you help us in any way? The visit is planned about 22-25 july. We prefer to stay with local people in agrotouristic pensions in a villige where there is a group.

Just another message to inform you that we made a contact with the musicians of Hudaki from western Transcarpatia (www . hudaki . org). We will visit their village from 20-23 july. They can also provide us with transport in Ukraine. After that we will travel to the east and thus would like to visit your region 3 days between 23 and 29 july. After that we will travel to Moldavia.

I glad to hear it - it's great to get various cultural experience!

So, I think in this case I can help with something.

I'm a volounteer at Kosiv regional rural and green tourism association of hostholders, it's not a problem to find a place for stay.

About musicians I also know one of the artist Tafijchuk famyly orchestra from Bukivezj village. They are very uniqe.
At town Verhovuna is a museum of traditional instruments, and owner is a great musicians. I got they record's - give me your adress and I will send some.
Actually at this last summer we got experience to create cultural tour for american tourist. It was provided together with Pece Corps (US) volonteers in Ukraine.
In this tour was included visiting of craftmens like - woodcarving, leather, woolen blanket etc. For this group was creating play "Traditional Gutsul wedding" and hiking to the place in a mountaines were producing special type of cheese... and a lot of various things.
I got pres-relise for this tour and I can sendet to you.
